Laparoszkópos

Laparoszkópos refers to a medical procedure performed using a laparoscope, a thin, lighted tube with a camera. This technique is commonly employed in minimally invasive surgery, allowing surgeons to access the abdominal or pelvic cavity without making large incisions. The laparoscope is inserted through small cuts, often just a few millimeters in length, and the camera transmits images to a monitor, providing the surgical team with a magnified view of the internal organs.

Additional instruments, such as graspers, scissors, and cautery devices, are introduced through other small incisions. This allows the surgeon to perform a variety of operations, including appendectomies, cholecystectomies (gallbladder removal), hernia repairs, and gynecological procedures. The primary advantage of laparoszkópos surgery is reduced patient trauma, leading to shorter hospital stays, less pain, and quicker recovery times compared to traditional open surgery. However, it requires specialized training for the surgical team and is not suitable for all types of procedures or all patients. The specific instruments and techniques used can vary depending on the complexity and nature of the surgery being performed.
