Labradorians
Labradorians are the inhabitants of Labrador, a geographical region on the eastern coast of Canada. This vast peninsula is part of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, with Labrador forming its mainland portion. The population of Labrador is relatively sparse, with a significant portion of its residents concentrated in coastal communities. The indigenous peoples of Labrador, including the Innu and the Inuit (often referred to collectively as Inuit-Innu or Nuna people), have a deep historical connection to the land and have lived there for thousands of years. Alongside these indigenous communities, there are also many people of European descent, primarily of English and French ancestry, who settled in the region over centuries.
