LLNLs
LLNL stands for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a United States Department of Energy national laboratory located in Livermore, California. It is one of the U.S. government’s flagship research facilities and is operated by Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The acronym LLNL is the standard usage; the form LLNLs is not commonly used, since the institution is a single laboratory rather than a group of separate labs.
