Kümnendmõõt
Kümnendmõõt is an Estonian term that literally means "tenth dimension." It is employed primarily as a metaphorical or technical reference to a space with ten dimensions, especially in the context of theoretical physics and higher‑dimensional geometry. In string theory, the most widely studied models, such as type I, type IIA, type IIB, and heterotic strings, require ten spacetime dimensions—nine spatial and one temporal—to maintain mathematical consistency. For this reason the term is used in Estonian scientific literature to denote the mathematically rich setting in which strings propagate.
The concept is also occasionally applied outside physics, for instance in data analysis where a "tenth dimension"
