Kívülrl

Kívülrl is a city-state and the administrative center of the Kívülrl Province in the northern archipelago of Meridia. The city sits on a natural crescent harbor and functions as a major maritime and commercial hub for the region. The name is believed to derive from old Meridic terms meaning edge or boundary by the sea.

History and governance

Kívülrl traces its origins to 12th-century seafaring communities that established a trading outpost on the harbor’s edge. It grew through maritime commerce and regional exchanges, joining the Meridian Confederation in the 14th century and developing a distinctive urban tradition. Today, Kívülrl operates with a mayor and a bicameral council, serving as the political heart of the province within the Federated Meridian Union.

Located along a sheltered coastline, Kívülrl features a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers. The harbor area is lined with docks, shipyards, and breakwaters that protect the city’s commercial activities and recreational spaces.
