Kwanto is a fictional archipelago and autonomous region created for speculative fiction and gaming settings. In most depictions, it is a constitutional parliamentary republic located in a maritime region, comprising roughly twenty major islands plus numerous islets and reefs. The geography ranges from volcanic highlands to mangrove coastlines, with a climate that spans humid subtropics to tropical conditions.

Historically, Kwanto is described as having evolved from coastal and island communities that formed a loose federation in the early modern era. In many stories, it gains autonomous status within a larger political framework in the mid- to late 20th century, and adopts a modern constitution that defines civil liberties, multi-party politics, and a separation of powers.
