Kopplungsfaktoren
Kopplungsfaktoren, often translated as coupling factors or linkage factors, are a concept in genetics that describes the tendency of genes located on the same chromosome to be inherited together. This phenomenon is known as genetic linkage. Genes that are physically close to each other on a chromosome are less likely to be separated during the process of meiosis, which is the cell division that produces gametes (sperm and egg cells).
