Kontoritest is a term used in Finnish and some Nordic contexts to refer to assessments designed to evaluate skills and attributes relevant to office work. These tests may be used in hiring, promotion, or training programs to gauge a candidate’s or employee’s ability to perform administrative tasks, handle information, and manage time and accuracy in a typical office setting.

Common types include cognitive ability tests targeting numerical reasoning, verbal comprehension, and abstract thinking; clerical tests measuring data entry speed and accuracy, proofreading, spelling, and basic accounting tasks; and job simulations such as in-basket exercises, spreadsheet and word-processing tasks, or short email/letter drafting assignments.
