Konfigurácie, often translated as configurations, refers to the specific arrangement or setup of a system, device, or software. It defines the parameters and settings that dictate how something will operate. This can range from the hardware components of a computer, such as the processor, RAM, and storage, to the software settings within an application, like user preferences, network protocols, or security options. In essence, a konfigurácia is a blueprint or a set of instructions that determines the behavior and functionality of a given entity.

Different types of konfigurácie exist depending on the context. For example, a computer's operating system has a set of default konfigurácie, but users can customize these to suit their needs. In software development, konfigurácie files are used to manage application behavior, database connections, and other essential parameters without altering the core code. In networking, a device's IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are all part of its network konfigurácia.
