Komposiittityökalut, known in English as composite tools, are instruments or devices manufactured using composite materials. These materials are formed by combining two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties which remain separate and distinct at the macroscopic or microscopic level within the finished structure. Typically, composites consist of a matrix material, often a polymer, and a reinforcement material, such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, or aramid fiber.

The use of composite materials in tool construction offers several advantages over traditional materials like metal or wood. Composites can exhibit a higher strength-to-weight ratio, meaning they are stronger for their mass.
