Kommunalparlamente
Kommunalparlamente are the democratically elected legislative bodies at the municipal level in German-speaking countries. They govern towns and municipalities and shape local policy within the framework of higher-level law. The exact title and structure vary by country and state, with common forms including Gemeinderäte, Stadträte or Gemeindeparlamente. Councils are typically elected for four to six years, and their size depends on population.
