Keskipakosiivilät

Keskipakosiivilät, also known as centrifugal sieves or strainers, are mechanical devices used for separating solid particles from liquids or gases based on particle size. They utilize centrifugal force to achieve this separation. The material to be sieved is introduced into a rotating cylindrical screen. As the material enters the rotating screen, centrifugal force propels it outwards against the screen's mesh. Particles larger than the mesh openings are retained on the inside surface of the screen, while smaller particles and the liquid or gas pass through the mesh and are collected separately.
