Kamariyhtye

Kamariyhtye is a Finnish term for a chamber ensemble, a small musical group performing chamber music in intimate settings. A kamariyhtye typically consists of two to eight musicians and emphasizes balance, clarity of texture, and musical equality among players rather than a large conductor-led ensemble.
