Kaltfolienverfahren
Kaltfolienverfahren refers to a printing technique used to apply metallic or other special effects to a substrate. Unlike hot foil stamping, which requires heat to transfer the foil, cold foiling uses a liquid adhesive applied to the substrate through a printing plate. The foil is then pressed onto the adhesive while it is still wet, creating a strong bond. After the foil is applied, it is cured, and any excess foil is removed, leaving the desired metallic or special effect design on the surface.
This method is often employed in the printing industry for packaging, labels, and commercial print applications
