Intercollegiate

Intercollegiate is an adjective describing activities, events, or relations that involve more than one college or university. The term comes from the Latin inter (between) and collegialis (of a college) and has been used in English since the 19th century to distinguish between endeavors conducted within a single institution and those that cross institutional boundaries.

Intercollegiate athletics are the best-known application, referring to sports programs in which teams from different colleges
