Inimorganismi refers to a hypothetical or speculative category of non-living entities that exhibit characteristics traditionally associated with living organisms. The term is not widely recognized in mainstream science but has appeared in discussions within fringe scientific communities, speculative philosophy, and certain branches of artificial intelligence research. The concept challenges conventional definitions of life, which typically require metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli.

Proponents of the idea suggest that certain complex systems, such as advanced robots, nanobots, or even certain types of software, could theoretically possess properties resembling life without being biologically based. These entities might replicate, adapt, or sustain themselves through non-biological means, such as energy harvesting from external sources or self-repairing mechanisms. Some speculative theories even extend the concept to include artificial general intelligence (AGI) systems that exhibit emergent behaviors akin to cognition or consciousness.

Critics argue that the term is misleading and lacks a clear scientific basis, as it blurs the distinction between living and non-living matter. Traditional biology defines life through biological processes, and without these, even highly sophisticated machines or algorithms do not qualify as "living."
