Infeksjonen
Infeksjonen, or infection, denotes the invasion and multiplication of microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites, within a host, often resulting in disease. In Norwegian usage, Infeksjonen is the definite form of infeksjon and is commonly used to refer to specific infections in medical or public health contexts. The term may also appear as a title in Norwegian media, yet such uses are not tied to a single condition.
