Inerie
Inerie, also known as Gunung Inerie, is a prominent stratovolcano on Flores Island in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. It is the highest peak on Flores, with an elevation of about 2,245 meters above sea level. The mountain is located in Ngada Regency, near the town of Bajawa, and forms part of the island’s central highlands. The volcano has a symmetrical cone profile and a large summit crater that dominates the surrounding landscape. The slopes are forested from lowland to montane zones, transitioning to mossy cloud forest at higher elevations.
