Iluminatis

The Illuminati is a name given to several groups, both historical and modern, that are associated with concepts of enlightenment and esoteric knowledge. The most famous historical group was the Bavarian Illuminati, founded in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt. This order was a secretive society that sought to influence political and social reform through clandestine means. Its members were drawn from various intellectual circles and included some prominent figures of the Enlightenment. The Bavarian Illuminati was relatively short-lived, being suppressed by the Bavarian government in the late 1780s.

In contemporary times, the term "Illuminati" has become a central element in various conspiracy theories. These theories often depict the Illuminati as a shadowy organization that secretly controls world events, governments, and major industries. Proponents of these theories suggest that the group aims to establish a New World Order and often attribute symbols found in popular culture, architecture, and currency to their supposed influence. There is no credible evidence to support the existence of such a pervasive and controlling organization in modern times. The idea of the Illuminati persists primarily as a subject of popular culture, fiction, and speculative discourse rather than verifiable historical fact.
