IRGCQF

IRGCQF, or the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, is the external, or overseas, arm of the IRGC. Its mandate is to conduct and coordinate political, military, and covert operations beyond Iran’s borders and to support Iran’s aligned groups and governments. The unit developed during the Iran–Iraq War era to project influence abroad and to advance Tehran’s strategic objectives through irregular warfare, intelligence, and proxy networks. It operates under the IRGC chain of command and ultimately reports to Iran’s Supreme Leader.
