Husflidslag, in English the local handicrafts association, refers to a self-organized group in Norway dedicated to promoting and practicing handicrafts. The term husflid denotes traditional and contemporary craftsmanship, including textiles, weaving, knitting, sewing, embroidery, woodwork, metalwork, leather, glass, and related arts. A husflidslag is usually volunteer-driven and focused on education, skills development, and the production of handmade goods.
