Hublots

Hublot was founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco in Nyon, Switzerland, and gained early attention for a watch that fused a natural rubber strap with a precious metal case. The brand embraced a design philosophy known as Fusion, which combines diverse materials such as gold, titanium, ceramic, carbon fiber, and rubber.

Under the leadership of Jean-Claude Biver and the ownership of LVMH, Hublot expanded its product lines and global presence. The Big Bang line, introduced around 2005, became the signature model and helped redefine the brand’s contemporary image. The Classic Fusion series followed, emphasizing slimmer profiles and a baroque-influenced elegance. Hublot has also developed in-house movements, including the UNICO chronograph calibre introduced in the 2010s, to enhance performance and exclusivity. The company has produced watches in a variety of materials, including King Gold, high-tech ceramics, titanium, and sapphire, and has pursued partnerships with sports teams, artists, and events to broaden its appeal.
