Nyon

Nyon is a municipality in the canton of Vaud in western Switzerland, located on the north shore of Lake Geneva at the eastern end of the lake, about 25 kilometers northeast of Geneva. It is the capital of the district of Nyon and is primarily French-speaking. The town has a population around 20,000 and serves as a local administrative and cultural center.
