Huasteca
The Huasteca, also known as La Huasteca, is a cultural and geographic region in eastern Mexico that runs along the Gulf of Mexico. It is associated with the Huastec people and their language, and spans parts of Veracruz, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí and Tamaulipas. The term also refers to the subregion known as the Huasteca Potosina, centered in San Luis Potosí and noted for its rivers, waterfalls, and dramatic landscapes.
