HoonahAngoon
Hoonah-Angoon is a census-designated place located in the Hoonah-Angoon Census Area in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is situated at the northern end of Icy Strait, near the mouth of the portage connecting Glacier Bay to Icy Strait. The location is along the southeastern coast of the Panhandle, near the oil terminal at Hoonah and surrounding boroughs. The U.S. Census Bureau defines the area as an unincorporated place and, as such, it is a regulatory anomaly.
