Voyagers are people who undertake long-distance journeys, often across cultures, continents, or oceans, for exploration, trade, study, or migration. The term derives from the French voyager, meaning to travel.

Historically, voyagers include ancient mariners such as Phoenicians and Polynesian navigators, medieval merchants, and explorers of the Age of Discovery who opened new trade routes and contact between continents. They are celebrated in many cultures for expanding geographic knowledge and facilitating cultural exchange, commerce, and migration.

In space exploration, Voyager refers to NASA's Voyager program, launched in 1977 to study the outer planets. Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 conducted flybys of Jupiter and Saturn; Voyager 2 also visited Uranus and Neptune. Voyager 1 is the most distant human-made object and entered interstellar space in 2012, followed by Voyager 2 in 2018. Both spacecraft continue to transmit data from beyond the heliopause, powered by radioisotope thermoelectric generators. Each carries a Golden Record with sounds and images of Earth intended for potential extraterrestrial discovery.
