Herstellerprüfungen
Herstellerprüfungen, also known as manufacturer testing or factory testing, refers to the rigorous quality control procedures carried out by a product's manufacturer before the goods are dispatched to customers or distributors. These tests are designed to verify that the product meets all specified design, performance, and safety standards. The scope and nature of manufacturer testing vary significantly depending on the industry and the complexity of the product. For instance, in the automotive industry, vehicles undergo extensive road testing, emissions testing, and safety feature verification. In the electronics sector, components and finished devices are subjected to electrical stress tests, functional checks, and environmental simulations to ensure reliability.
The primary goal of manufacturer testing is to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from specifications
