HarvardKyoto
HarvardKyoto, formally known as the Harvard-Kyoto Initiative (HKI), is a collaborative partnership between Harvard University and the City of Kyoto, Japan, established in 2015. The initiative was created to foster academic, cultural, and research exchanges between the United States and Japan, with a particular emphasis on areas such as environmental science, digital humanities, and traditional arts. HKI operates through joint programs hosted at Harvard's campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at partner institutions in Kyoto, including Kyoto University and the Kyoto International Center for Culture and Arts.
