Halachic
Halachic is an adjective relating to halacha, the body of Jewish law derived from biblical and rabbinic sources. In English, it is used to describe rulings, authorities, or processes that are governed by halacha. A halachic decision is one that a posek, a scholar charged with interpreting Jewish law, issues as psak halacha (legal ruling) for a given situation.
