Gesturality refers to the use of gestures—intentional or unintentional movements of the hands, arms, head, or body—to convey meaning, emphasize speech, or communicate nonverbally. As a fundamental aspect of human interaction, gesturality plays a crucial role in both verbal and nonverbal communication across cultures and contexts. It often complements spoken language, clarifying intentions, emotions, or abstract ideas that may be difficult to express through words alone.
