Frozen-dried, also known as freeze-dried or lyophilized food, is a preservation method that removes moisture from food while maintaining its nutritional value, texture, and flavor. This technique involves freezing the food at extremely low temperatures and then applying a vacuum to sublimate the ice directly into vapor, leaving behind a lightweight, porous structure.
