Friluftstilbud is a Norwegian term that describes organized activities and services designed to provide opportunities to experience outdoor life and nature. Typical friluftstilbud include guided forest and coastal walks, outdoor education programs in schools, day camps and family activity days, winter activities such as skiing and ice skating, and water-based trips like kayaking or canoeing. Providers range from municipal leisure departments and county councils to the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) and other outdoor organizations. Offerings are often subsidized and tailored for children, youth, families, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities.
