Franquista
Franquista refers to a follower of Francisco Franco, the Spanish general who ruled Spain as a dictator from 1939 until his death in 1975. The term is closely associated with the political and ideological movement that supported Franco's regime, known as Francoism. Francoism was characterized by its authoritarianism, nationalism, anti-communism, and Catholicism. Supporters of the regime, or franquistas, generally believed in a strong, centralized state, the preservation of traditional Spanish values, and the suppression of political opposition.
