Fouranchor

Fouranchor is a term used in marine engineering to describe a four-point mooring configuration designed to secure floating structures or vessels. The arrangement uses four anchors placed around the vessel to provide redundancy and enhanced stability under wind, waves, and current.

The layout and operation of a fouranchor system involve positioning the anchors at the corners of a quadrilateral around the vessel, forming a square, rectangle, or diamond shape depending on environmental conditions and seabed characteristics.
