Florianus

He was proclaimed by the eastern army after the death of his predecessor and his reign lasted only a few months before he died, after which the throne passed to a successor chosen by the military and the provinces.

Saint Florianus: Florianus, often rendered Florian in Christian tradition, is a 3rd–4th-century martyr venerated as a saint. He is associated as the patron saint of firefighters and sometimes other trades. Traditional legends describe him as a Roman army officer who refused to worship pagan gods and was martyred for his faith. His cult was especially strong in Central Europe, with ties to Lauriacum (present-day Linz, Austria). His feast day is May 4.
