Flexograafilised

Flexograafilised refers to something that has been printed using flexography. Flexography, often shortened to flexo, is a modern printing technique that utilizes a flexible relief plate to produce a raised image. This plate, typically made of rubber or photopolymer, has the image to be printed raised on its surface. Ink is transferred to the raised image from an anilox roll, which is a roller engraved with tiny cells that hold and meter ink. The inked plate is then pressed against the substrate, transferring the image.

The flexograafilised process is highly versatile and can print on a wide variety of materials, including flexible plastics, paper, cardboard, and even some metallic films. This adaptability makes it ideal for packaging, labels, envelopes, and newspapers. The flexibility of the printing plates allows them to conform to uneven surfaces, which is a significant advantage over other printing methods. Flexograafilised products are characterized by their ability to be produced quickly and economically, especially for long print runs. The inks used in flexography are often fast-drying, water-based or solvent-based, and can achieve vibrant colors. The development of digital flexo plates has further enhanced the quality and precision of flexograafilised printing.
