FieldView

FieldView is a digital farming platform designed to help growers collect, visualize, and act on field-level crop data. It is most commonly associated with the FieldView product line within the Climate FieldView suite, originally developed by The Climate Corporation and later incorporated into Bayer’s digital farming portfolio. The platform aims to streamline field management by centralizing diverse data sources and presenting them in actionable formats.

Key features include field mapping and boundary creation, crop-health imagery and diagnostics such as NDVI, and the integration of yield data, soil sampling results, and agronomic notes. FieldView supports the creation of management zones and variable-rate prescriptions for inputs like fertilizer and irrigation. It also aggregates weather data and forecasts, enabling planning and risk assessment. Users can access data through mobile apps and a web interface, view dashboards, and share information with advisors or team members. Data can be imported from yield monitors, handheld sensors, drone or satellite imagery, and manual entries, providing a longitudinal view of field performance.

Data handling and privacy are central to FieldView’s design. Users retain ownership of their data, with export options available in standard formats. Data may be used to generate benchmarks or insights if the user opts in, subject to the platform’s terms and privacy policy.
