Festbier is a traditional German beer style that originated in Munich, Germany, and is specifically brewed for the annual Oktoberfest celebration. The name "Festbier" translates to "fest beer" or "feast beer," reflecting its role as a seasonal beverage enjoyed during the festival. This style is distinct from the more widely known Oktoberfest Märzen, which is darker and stronger.

Festbier typically has a pale golden color, a crisp and clean taste, and a moderate alcohol content ranging from 4.8% to 5.5% by volume. It is brewed using traditional German ingredients, including Pilsner malt, German hops, and a top-fermenting yeast, which contributes to its slightly fruity and malty character.
