Fernsehers
Fernsehers is the plural of the German noun Fernseher, meaning television set. In German-language usage, the term refers to a device that receives and displays audiovisual signals for home viewing. The concept emerged in the early 20th century and became widespread after World War II as consumer electronics and broadcasting expanded. Early sets used vacuum tubes and mechanical or electronic scanning; color broadcast and remote control became common in the mid-20th century.
