Feldbusnetzen

Feldbusnetze, often translated as fieldbus networks, are industrial digital communication systems designed for real-time control and data acquisition in automation environments. They replace traditional point-to-point wiring with a serial bus that connects multiple devices, such as sensors, actuators, and controllers, to a common network cable. This significantly reduces installation costs and complexity compared to older analog or parallel systems.

The primary advantage of fieldbuses lies in their ability to transmit both data and control signals digitally over a single cable.
