Fasilitoitu practices emphasize inclusive design, transparent decision-making, and explicit recording of contributions and next steps. The approach often combines synchronous sessions with asynchronous tasks and uses templates to standardize processes while allowing adaptation to context.

Applications range from classroom workshops and study groups to corporate training and community projects. Reception to fasilitoitu is mixed.
