Farten
Farten, or flatulence, is the expulsion of gas from the digestive tract through the rectum. Gas is produced mainly in the colon during digestion and also results from swallowed air. In healthy adults, flatulence is a normal bodily function and varies in amount and frequency. Typical daily gas production is approximately 0.5 to 1.5 liters, with emissions occurring several times a day.
