Eviruses

Eviruses, a portmanteau of "electronic viruses," are hypothetical entities that exist and propagate within digital or electronic systems. Unlike biological viruses that infect living cells, eviruses would target computer hardware, software, or networks. The concept of eviruses is largely explored in science fiction and theoretical computer science, posing questions about the nature of life and consciousness in non-biological forms.

The theoretical framework for eviruses often draws parallels to biological replication and evolution.
