Accessibility features, searchability, hyperlinks, and multimedia elements are common advantages, with compliance to accessibility standards improving reach for readers with disabilities.

Challenges include copyright enforcement, piracy, platform dependence, discoverability in crowded marketplaces, and quality control. Legal regimes such as copyright law, licensing, and open-access policies shape epublishing. Industry trends point to serialization, interactive and multimedia ebooks, AI-assisted writing and editing, and digital lending libraries. As technology evolves, epublishing aims to broaden access while balancing author rights and sustainable business models.
