The city combines a deep-water port with an urban core and a surrounding rural hinterland. The name Enteriska is a constructed toponym used in the setting, with no direct real-world equivalent.

History: Founded in the early 22nd century by merchant guilds seeking autonomous trade governance, Enteriska grew rapidly as a maritime hub. It achieved de facto independence in 2145 following regional reforms and was formally recognized as a sovereign state in 2160. In 2183 Enteriska joined the Lysaran Confederation, a loose federation of coastal city-states.

Government: Enteriska operates as a constitutional republic with a unicameral council of twelve members and a president who acts as head of government. The legal framework emphasizes trade freedom, environmental standards, and transparent governance.
