Endtoendprosessien, often translated as end-to-end processes, refer to the complete sequence of activities that deliver a product or service from the initial trigger or customer need to final delivery and ongoing support. The core idea is to optimize performance across the entire value stream rather than maximizing the efficiency of individual subprocesses in isolation. End-to-end processes are typically cross-functional and cross-system, requiring explicit ownership, governance, and alignment across departments such as sales, product development, operations, finance, and IT.

Key characteristics include holistic optimization, visibility across the full lifecycle, and a focus on the customer experience. Process ownership is crucial, with a clear end-to-end view that drives coordination, data consistency, and standardization.
