Ekskluderes

Ekskluderes is a term used in social science to describe individuals or groups that are prevented from full participation in the life of their society. The concept is closely related to social exclusion and marginalization and is applied across disciplines such as sociology, political science, and human rights law. In practice, ekskluderes can refer to people who experience barriers to accessing resources, rights, and opportunities necessary for everyday life.

Exclusion can be formal or informal. It may manifest through legal barriers, ineffective or inaccessible services, discriminatory practices, stigmatization, or the cumulative effects of poverty and social norms.
