Ekolodsonarsystem
Ekolodsonarsystem, commonly referred to as sonar, is a technology that uses sound propagation to navigate, communicate with or detect objects on or under the surface of the water. The term sonar is also used for the equipment used to detect and determine the distance of objects, as well as for the objects themselves. The principle of sonar is based on the emission of sound pulses and the reception of their echoes. These echoes return to the source after reflecting off objects in the water. By measuring the time it takes for the echo to return and knowing the speed of sound in water, the distance to the object can be calculated.
Sonar systems can be broadly categorized into active sonar and passive sonar. Active sonar systems emit their
Applications of ekolodsonarsystem are diverse and include military uses such as submarine detection and mine hunting,
