Digitrükk refers to the process of printing digital files directly onto a substrate without the need for printing plates. This method is a direct evolution of traditional printing technologies, adapting them to the digital age. Unlike offset printing which requires creating a physical plate for each color, digitrükk allows for data to be sent from a computer directly to the printing device. This significantly reduces setup time and costs, especially for short print runs.
