Diakonalt

Diakonalt is an adjective used mainly in Scandinavian languages (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish) to describe activities, institutions or perspectives related to diakonia — the Christian practice of service and care for those in need. The word corresponds to the English term "diaconal" and derives from the Greek diakonia, meaning service or ministry.

In ecclesial contexts, diakonalt refers to organized church-based social work such as care for the elderly, health services, support for the homeless, refugee assistance, and pastoral counseling.
